How to make a worksheet

  1. Type or paste the characters, or tap a quick pick such as Numbers.
  2. Pick a grid. 田 (tian zi ge) is the classic beginner grid; 米 (mi zi ge) adds diagonals for checking balance.
  3. Choose how many tracing boxes to show. With fading on, each tracing box is lighter than the last.
  4. Press Print or save as PDF. To keep a copy, choose "Save as PDF" in the print window.

Which box size is right?

Large boxes (25 mm) suit children aged 4 to 7. Medium (18 mm) suits older kids. Small (15 mm) fits the most practice on one page.
